In terms of communication, Gopalganj was previously a backward town. Since 1996, a comprehensive program has been undertaken to improve the communication system in this region. As a result, the Dhaka-Khulna highway was built over Gopalganj. It is easy to travel to Dhaka, Khulna and various places in the country via Bhatiapara in Gopalganj via Bishwaroor. There is a road connection system with Gopalganj Sadar. Buses to Gopalganj run from Sayedabad and Gabtoli in the capital Dhaka. Tungipara Express, Madhumoti Paribahan, Dola Paribahan, Bonful Paribahan, etc. run from Sayedabad via Munshiganj-Mawa and Comfortline, Palash Paribahan, etc. buses run from Gabtoli via Paturia-Faridpur. The bus fare is 500-600 taka per person.


From Gopalganj via Dhaka-Khulna highway, you can travel to the neighboring districts of Barisal, Narail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Bagerhat and Khulna. Although waterways were previously the main means of transportation in Gopalganj, today launches operate from Paysar Hat in Kotali Para to Sadarghat in Dhaka. There is a railway line in Gopalganj up to Kashiani.
